Reserved for businesses that have passed Business Builder’s rigorous screening process, the Seal of Approval is the best way for conscientious consumers to find and support your business.

How does your business earn the Seal of Approval?

First join the Business Builder’s Network under the “Member” category. Once we’ve processed your membership, we’ll send you a link to the online screening application.

Once submitted, the application is reviewed by Business Builder’s screening staff and then considered by a three-person Committee who report to Business Builder’s staff.

Each applying business is evaluated to determine its familiarity with and commitment to social and community responsibility. The Screening Committee looks for evidence of this commitment in the practices and policies of the business. This is what we mean when we say “screening.”
